gcc does not compile with the following flags. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
emerge -eav gcc

Actual Results:  
gcc does not compile

Expected Results:  
gcc does compile itself

does it fail at the same place every time with the same message ?

Hardware issue: missing electrical contact in the CPU socket.
