Bug 178121 – cgi support not compilied correctly for sys-power/nut in Gentoo

I am compiling sys-power/nut with cgi as a USE flag in Gentoo.  It is supposed to create a directory called /usr/share/nut with my cgi scripts in it.  In the ebuild messages it says it is doing it but the nut folder does not exist.

Well, I'm really confused now. The log clearly shows that emerge failed? Could you clarify how does that match the summary of this bug?

Because nut works, it's cgi that isn't working.  What is failing?

Have you read the log you've attached at all? I fail to see how can nut be working when emerge failed.

Because I have watched nut emerge many times looking for errors and it successfully built. I am just now going over the log. I had no idea it failed with this build but I can assure you that nut has been working.  I'm only using the use flag of cgi because I want to be able to access it via the internet.

It's failing here.  make: *** No rule to make target `j1'.  Stop.
You had me do MAKEOPTS="-j1" and them emerge.

Ok, I see I need libgd.  There is no libgd in portage.

Sure there is; and the ebuild already depends on it w/ USE=cgi.

Maybe if you could read the ebuild, please. This bug is already noisy enough.
