galeon 1.2.9 is out 
has moz 1.3 compatabilty and has a fix to be able to use plugins compiled under
gcc 2.95.x to run under galeon when compiled under gcc 3.x

ive compiled both galeon and moz and both merge without problems here
havent found a problem with ether of em while running em for last hour or so

i suppose it could

could any of the gnome team with gtk1 compiled mozilla check it for correctness, just to be on the safe side ?
