agaffney, I've tried the installer twice and failed both times :(. Due to the current issues with the installer cd, do you think a new 2007.0 cd would be appropriate after some of the usability issues are resolved? This bug isn't a show-stopper either (I also filed bug #177674), but it does cause the install to fail. The current workaround is to restart the installer, and everything seems to be chugging along happily again. I just tried this and didn't hit any problems. I did the following: 1) clicked Recommended Layout and let it create partitions 2) deleted the ext3 partition at /dev/sda3 3) created a reiserfs partition in its place 4) clicked Next 5) changed ext3 for /dev/sda3 to reiserfs on the mounts screen (this is bug 177624) 6) clicked Next twice 7) felt disappointed because everything worked perfectly Ah, I forgot to click "update" after changing the line to "reiserfs". This is a duplicate report. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 177624 *** |
