fglrxinfo would always show Mesa as the 3D rendering engine (new install, just put on X on a Lenovo T60p).

I applied the fix on my local box, and suddenly I get 3D acceleration again.

This is potentially an upstream bug - I did not look at how the ATI drivers are installled by the ebuild.
