after executing emerge -avNDu system, sys-libs/glibc-2.5-r2 fails at the configure stage checking size of long double

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -avNDu system
2. wait to fail
3.

Actual Results:  
after downloading and cheking mani zings, it output this:


checking size of long double... configure: error: cannot compute sizeof (long double), 77
