Revised efax-gtk ebuild.

Description Brad Laue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-03-17 12:23:07 UTC
This is a GTK+2 frontend for bug 17693, the efax program. It features GNOME HIG
compliance, fax address books, send/receive functionality through the efax
backend.

Changes to the default build:

1) Use portage commands rather than the make install: directive, as it causes
   access violations left and right.

Reproducible: Always

two errors I am having with latest build efax-gtk-2.0.7

1) syslinks required efax -> efax-0.9a  &  efix -> efix-0.9a

efax-0.9a installs as efax & efix

From efax-gtk web site...
To avoid name conflicts the patched versions of efax and efix are installed as efax-0.9a and efix-0.9a. If you want to use the standard distributions of efax, delete efax-0.9a and efix-0.9a, and then make a symbolic link from efax to efax-0.9a and from efix to efix-0.9a so that efax-gtk can find them.

2) the lock file is not accessible from user (works as root)
efax-0.9a: 38:45 Error: can't open pre-lock file /var/lock/TMP..03479: Permission denied
