the wildfire jabber server is now known as openfire. wildfire version in portage is outdated.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge net-im/openfire

Actual Results:  
nothing found

Expected Results:  
openfire 3.3.0 should be installed

oh sorry :) I tried to avoid a duplicate...
