Bug 17562 – net-tools-1.60-r5: no man pages

The latest net-tools (net-tools-1.60-r5, possible other versions also) does not
install the man pages for route, ipconfig, etc.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge net-tools-1.60-r5
2. emerge -C all older versions
3. type 'man route', or 'man ipconfig'

please note that it would be: man ifconfig
NOT man ipconfig :P

please remerge the package if the man pages are still not showing up for you, anyway.

I have the same problem. There's something wrong during the "install" step. Tried to reinstall the package multiple times without success (with different CFLAGS).

I provide the full log of the emerge.

CFLAGS="march=pentium3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" tried also with different
CFLAGS with the same problem.

Sorry but the "tee" command left a bit of output out (don't know why).

I created a new log with all the infos...

this was a nls issue
