Description Peter Gantner (a.k.a. nephros) 2007-04-22 13:49:50 UTC
please update the ipstate ebuild to the latest version (2.2.1) as the current on (2.1) does not work with recent kernels because of changes in netfilter.

Bumping and adding dependency on libnetfilter_conntrack works.

Reproducible: Always

Thanks, in cvs for ~x86.

Arches, you may want to keyword net-libs/libnetfilter_conntrack and net-analyzer/iptstate-2.2.1.

Cheers,
Marcelo
Comment 2 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-06-02 03:33:34 UTC
net-libs/libnetfilter_conntrack was already OK for HPPA, so basically nothing to do but test a bit and rekeyword:

Marked ~hppa again.
Comment 3 Marcelo Goes (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-06-02 22:30:43 UTC
Indeed... The same will be the case for amd64 and sparc (my bad).
amd64/sparc: if it is too much hassle to test iptstate, I guess we can just re-keyword it anyway.
Comment 4 Gustavo Zacarias (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-06-04 19:13:34 UTC
~sparc'd.
Next time please ask for one or the other but not both please (like "hey, new ipstate dropped keywords because it needs new deps" or "keyword the new deps and i'll throw the new ebuild then").

Emerges and works on AMD64. Please add ~amd64 keyword to iptstate.

Hi, is there any reason to keep the custon cflags?

-       make CXXFLAGS="${CXXFLAGS} -g -Wall" all || die

instead of just running "emake || die".

(just trying to understand)
