saxon-bin-6.5.5.ebuild
Ebuild for saxon-bin 6.5.5.
No, saxon-bin is going away soon. Why would we need both source and -bin versions: - dev-java/saxon-bin-8.4b (masked by: package.mask) # Petteri Räty <betelgeuse@gentoo.org> (30 Mar 2007) # Use the from source version dev-java/saxon instead # Removal in 30 days. (In reply to comment #2) > No, saxon-bin is going away soon. Why would we need both source and -bin > versions: Because sometimes it's not possible to compile (my experience with saxon-6.5.2). (In reply to comment #3) > Because sometimes it's not possible to compile (my experience with > saxon-6.5.2). Sorry, that's not good reason. Just imagine this argument applied to the whole Gentoo :) If it doesn't compile, file a bug. The only Java -bin packages in tree should be for stuff that's not open source. |
