Bug 175341 – wxpython is failing rmd160 verification

Everytime i try and emerge wxpython after clearing my cache and updating the local database i still get a bad digest.



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
rm /usr/portage/distfiles* && emerge --sync && emerge wxpython

It works good on a system of mine that has never seen wxPython-src-2.6.3.3 before. I get a completely equal file from both my local distfiles mirror, as well as the main gentoo mirror from where you got it fetched as seen in your paste.
It passes all checksum checks fine, and some of its sums are:

md5sum /usr/portage/distfiles/wxPython-src-2.6.3.3.tar.bz2 
66b9c5f8e20a9505c39dab1a1234daa9  /usr/portage/distfiles/wxPython-src-2.6.3.3.tar.bz2

sha256sum wxPython-src-2.6.3.3.tar.bz2 
fd2c4338beac644ebc509766f1e33892fc34d19280c5cbd66746625f96a55acb  wxPython-src-2.6.3.3.tar.bz2

The sha256sum is the same as in Manifest, RMD160 check passed after emerge --fetch too for me.
Are you sure your network doesn't have problems, or the likes?

I have the similar problem, this is what my machine returned, can someone please help me to fix this problem.

This was a different temporarily problem, probably from a Manifest regeneration after stable marking. It should be fixed now as per the report in bug 176649
