Emerging tcp-wrappers fails with

Steps to Reproduce:
1. compile on my machine
2.
3.




I switched my server from  PIII to  an AMD-X2. Naturally I now want my system to be compiled for the AMD, so I switched the compiler flag in my make.conf:

-CFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium3 -pipe -mno-tls-direct-seg-refs"
+CFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon64 -pipe -mno-tls-direct-seg-refs"

And started an "emerge -e system" which then died with the said error.
 
Some more data on the system:
   * The system runs as a Xen-DomU with one processor.
   * The system runs in SeLinux "Permissiv" mode:  "getenforce" --> Permissiv
   * gcc-config -l  -->  [1] i686-pc-linux-gnu-4.1.1 *
