should add this: [ebuild U ] kde-base/kdebase-kioslaves-3.5.6-r1 [3.5.6] USE="kdeenablefinal samba -arts -debug -hal -kdehiddenvisibility -ldap -openexr -xinerama" 0 kB Which version of samba is installed? What's the output of `qlist samba | grep libsmbclient.*so`? Do those libs actually exist on your system? If you do not have the qlist command, emerge the portage-utils, please or use "equery files" instead. I have samba-3.0.24 # qlist samba | grep libsmbclient.*so /usr/lib/samba/libsmbclient.so /usr/lib/libsmbclient.so.0 /usr/lib/libsmbclient.so Please attach the config.log (you'll find it in /var/tmp/portage/kde-base/kdebase-kioslaves-3.5.6-r1/work/kdebase-kioslaves-3.5.6) to this bug. Here you go.
This is most likely the source of your problem: warning: libcap.so.1, needed by /usr/lib/libsmbclient.so, not found (try using -rpath or -rpath-link) Please try running revdep-rebuild (from app-portage/gentoolkit). If that doesn't fix it, please re-emerge sys-libs/libcap. Let us know, please, if that helps. revdep-rebuild fixed it, thanks. Not a bug, local problem. |
