vlc gives lots of DEPEND.badindev when using repoman :

  media-video/vlc/vlc-0.8.6b_beta1.ebuild: ~x86-fbsd(default-bsd/fbsd/6.2/x86) ['>=media-libs/libdvdnav-0.1.9', '>=dev-libs/libebml-0.7.6', 'x11-libs/xosd', '>=media-libs/libmatroska-0.8.0', 'media-libs/libdvdplay', '>=net-misc/upnp-1.2', '>=media-libs/libopendaap-0.3.0']


>=media-libs/libdvdnav-0.1.9 -> upstream is dead and it's under video herd so I suppose I can commit your fixes if you need sone

>=dev-libs/libebml-0.7.6 -> under video herd also, feel free to submit patches if needed ;)

x11-libs/xosd -> metadata says no-herd and no maintainer listed...


media-libs/libdvdplay, >=media-libs/libmatroska-0.8.0 -> video herd

>=net-misc/upnp-1.2 -> prefer net-misc/libupnp (bug #169736 )

I'd be very happy if we could get rid of those warnings ;)

Keyworded media-libs/libmatroska-0.8.1 and dev-libs/libebml-0.7.7-r1
xosd use flag masked
opened a bug for libupnp and libopendaap
later i'll summit patches for libdvdplay and/or libdvdnav

thanks Timothy, there are much less warnings now ;)

I've just added dc1394 useflag as per bug #167633 which gives more warnings, you'll probably want to mask it as you already do for ieee1394 with e.g. ffmpeg as it's probably linux only
