This is more a request than a bug.
I think "examples" should be included (a USE flag?) somewhere in /usr/lib together with the M4PATH env. var. pointing to that dir. "examples" contain very useful macros that seems more to be part of the m4 itself than simple illustration of m4 capabilities. For ex. forloop, foreach, etc ... are there.

m4-1.4.9 now supports USE=examples
