The motherboard is a Tyan S2927 running BIOS v1.04.

Still a problem w/ 2.6.20-r5?
Comment 4 Joshua Hoblitt 2007-07-19 00:20:22 UTC
This issue is resolved with the serial console changes in 2.6.22.
