I had the same problem. I appears that "DISPLAYMANAGER" is suppose to be set in /etc/conf.d/xdm instead of /etc/rc.conf now. I set DISPLAYMANAGER="kdm in /etc/conf.d/xdm and it works fine. You'll also need to ensure that the xdm init script is etc-updated properly. DISPLAYMANAGER can still be set in /etc/rc.conf and still stamp on any value in /etc/init.d/xdm Re-open if you disagree. |
