This "bug" is kind of related to #170126.

5.0.38 has been out for almost a month now (so, my ticket is kind of late to pick up one of those "kill kitten"-awards :( ). It would be lovely to help trying it out!

I would guess some ebuild tinkering is needed since there are some .34 specific patches in the latest ebuild; haven't looked into creating one for .38 just yet though.

Sorry, didn't mean this as an "reminder"; just wanted to have it in bugzilla - didn't think that that other bug was closely enough related though (referring to bug topic and future ebuild requests). Thanks!
