Bug 17381 – installguide mentions only a fraction of available kernels

In the install-guide, the following kernelsources are mentioned:

xfs-sources         vanilla-sources       gentoo-sources
openmosix-sources   usermode-sources

But... we provide lots of kernelsources:

aa-sources           gaming-sources  mm-sources          selinux-sources
acpi-sources         gentoo-sources  mosix-sources       sparc-sources
ac-sources           gs-sources      openmosix-sources   usermode-sources
alpha-sources        hppa-sources    ppc-sources         vanilla-sources
arm-headers          ksymoops        ppc-sources-benh    win4lin-sources
arm-sources          linux-headers   ppc-sources-crypto  wolk-sources
ck-sources           lolo-sources    ppc-sources-dev     xfs-sources
crypto-sources       mips-sources    redhat-sources
development-sources  mjc-sources     rsbac-sources

Proposal:
- Or we mention each kernelsource which is considered stable
- Or we mention that there are a lots of available flavors, and that an 
   ~$ ls /usr/portage/sys-kernel/
  will list all available ones, and that "emerge -s <flavor>" will give an   
  explanation about the kernelsource.
- Or we mention the most used (i guess "vanilla-sources", "gentoo-sources" and 
  "xfs-sources") and tell that there are lots of others (see previous proposal).

Most of the sources are for developers or for for experiments, and the users might get confused with all the sources..

we'd better mix the 2. and 3. together that

we hava a number of sources available.. you can find them in this way..

blah..

however, it is recommended to use this, this, or that..

Actaully, even though some of these are dev sources, they should still be documented. lolo is working on a guide right now, so I am going to CC him on this and see if he can add some more info.

You can find the proposed guide on http://cvs.gentoo.org/~swift/gentoo-kernel.html. If accepted by reviewing-committee, I'll add it to the CVS.
