Kernel version? Kernel .config? Something in syslog? I have resolved the problem. I think the problem was about APIC. I was booting gentoo with command "gentoo noapic". Instead of that I disable the APIC feature of the motherboard from BIOS and boot by simply "gentoo". Now, everything works fine. Currently, I'm installing a fresh gentoo. After that I'll enable APIC and supply you the necessary debug data. By the way, I'm using kernel 2.6.19. Hmmm, maybe you should try some newer BIOS. |
