Bug 173490 – app-office/gnucash-2.0.5 can't find slib

I'm getting this:

checking for SLIB support... configure: error:

   Cannot find SLIB.  Are you sure you have it installed?
   See http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=347922

And yet slib is installed:

# equery list slib

There aren't any use flags that I've seen for slib or guile, so I'm not sure how what I have is misconfigured or what other steps might be needed to get this to compile.

Note that I have gnucash 2.0.1 installed, so this is merely an upgrade.  I had no problems compiling 2.0.1, apparently that was about 3 weeks ago.
