I use gentoo 2.4.20-r2 here, which compiles just fine, even with those two modules turned on. The downside: it kernel panics, when I try to use netfilter (e.g. load the modules) I still try to reproduce this, which is rather hard, since it plainly locks my box and does not leave any traces :( I have exactly the same problem. Seems like the following kernel patch is a bad thing: Checking 700_iptables-03_ip_conntrack_proto_tcp-lockfix (plain text format)... looks good. Applying... done. By the way: I'm using gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r2 still a problem? |
