ftp.berlios.de is down. Have to check later for the upgrade. Interesting to see that this version has not been announced on the cdrtools-announce-mailing-list. cdrtools-2.01.01_alpha25 is in the tree now. Sorry for the delay, as I focus more on cdrkit. Created attachment 117329 [details, diff]

mkisofs-iconv-19.patch
mkisofs lacks support for utf-8 as input charset. There was patch for earlier versions of cdrtools, but this patch didn't included in newer versions. Why? There's ebuild and patch in attachment. Take other necessary patches from portage ;) First, open a new bug report, as this one is already resolved and closed. Second, those patches often don't apply to a new version of cdrtools. If you want a CD-recording application with proper UTF-8-support, choose app-cdr/cdrkit. |
