Bug 171542 – gnucash 2.0.1 not launching: No such file or directory: "usr/share/guile/slib/mklibcat"

This started happening after a recent (about 1 week) world emerge (i had been previously able to start it).  I try to re-emerge gnucash, but then i get this:

checking for (g-wrap gw-glib-spec) guile module... yes
checking for SLIB support... configure: error:

   Cannot find SLIB.  Are you sure you have it installed?

Re-emerge slib and try again.

that worked.  i didn't even have to emerge gnucash again - but do you recommend doing it?

Shouldn't harm anything, though it's not exactly needed either. :)
