Bug 171480 – authconfig-5.3.5 fails compiling - desktop-file-install?

I am emerging authconfig-5.3.5, and after a while it fails.


The error seems to be category-for-app based? It is this part that seems central in my opinion:

desktop-file-install --vendor redhat \
		--add-category=X-Red-Hat-Base \
		--add-category=Application \
		--add-category=System \
		--dir=/var/tmp/portage/app-admin/authconfig-5.3.5/image///usr/share/applications \
		authconfig.desktop

It is not only my system, for a person on IRC (sorry, forgot name :/) had the same problem when he tried to reproduce.




Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.attempt to emerge authconfig-5.3.5
2.should fail as according to mine
3.if not, my system is bodged up

Actual Results:

Expected Results:  
Compiled correctly. :-/

Kindly review http://bugs.gentoo.org/page.cgi?id=fields.html#bug_severity; plus never refer to pastebins for bug descriptions.

Ebuild for install authconfig

To compile authconfig we need to remove Red Hat desktop references from Makefile.am and Makefile.in.
Use this ebuild and the patch on my next attachment.
