Even when I start frozen-bubble wich --chain-reaction, the chain-reaction does not happen in 1p mode. 

I don't know if --chain-reaction is multiplayer mode only, but it does not seem to be documented as such.

yeah, if you want chain reaction by yourself, you can play the random levels and it will ask you if you want to turn it on.
