Looks pretty good!

Best of all, it now offers Multitrack support plus fixes!

Can it include Frei0r support, perhaps as an additional USE flag?

Many thanks.

Frei0r Support
This release contains support for Frei0r effects. You can use these by: downloading Frei0r effects from[latest_version]

Create the directory /usr/local/lib/frei0r-1
Install the plugins following the frei0r instructions.
Create a subdirectory in /usr/local/lib/frei0r-1, e.g /usr/local/lib/frei0r-1/generic, and move the plugins into there.
Copy the file frei0r.h into /usr/local/include/
Reconfigure/recompile/reinstall LiVES:
./configure && make install
Frei0r effects can be bound to keys in LiVES using the realtime effects window (ctrl-v).

Sorry about that. My fault. :)
Here is the link to the patch it took me to make compile and install.

I tried to fix the .am but looks like there is something else wrong...

Making install in po

Looks like I'll avoid fixing the after all...

LiVES is out sometime ago.

But "salsaman" had problems getting it to the mirrors... but it is now resolved. LiVES is now available on the SourceForge mirrors (15th August 2007).

Attached my local .ebuild. It compiles fine with the old ebuild. No patch needed this time like it needed for

Could you please fill another bug as reminder (btw is the ebuild in portage different from yours? If not is enough to tell me that bumping the version is sufficient =)

Thank you for the update, I hope to update lives this evening.
Comment 10 Yeaw Chu Lee 2007-08-25 09:36:30 UTC
No problem... I will fill in a new bug for it. :)

The ebuild is slightly different from, although removing the lines for the Makefile patch should do it.

The ebuild I used is basically the same as lives-0.9.7.ebuild you created sometime ago.

Many thanks :)
