Description Brad Laue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-03-08 12:23:24 UTC
Small modification to the latest geramik ebuild to have it build both GTK1 and GTK2
versions.

Geramik has worked on my systems for a long period of time, are there remaining
stability issues?

Reproducible: Always

Disregard this.

Question though: Why are slot 1 and 2 mutually exclusive for geramik in gtk-engines.eclass?
This prevents both the GTK1 and 2 version from being installed at the same time unless the
eclass is modified.
Comment 3 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-03-31 13:08:18 UTC
engines class is a bit of a mess i agree, but you cant have more then one slot for a package. right now thats done by installing either r1 and/or r2 of a pack.

it doesnt look exclusive to me

How about a workaround then? Making geramik slot 1 for example and telling the eclass to do nothing with it. Geramik will see whether or not it can build against.

i dont see your problem ?

you can build either gtk1 or gtk2 geramik or both if you like to.
