1.4rc3: aic7890 is detected; modprobing fails several times when it tries to insmod aic79xx modules. the module sd_mod does not exist; mousedev.o is missing;
when trying to fdisk /dev/sdb an endless output of 'spurious scsi interrupt' is generated.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot up with livecd
2. launch 'fdisk /dev/sda' (or /dev/sdb , doesn't matter)
3.

Actual Results:  
endless output of 'spurious scsi interrupt'

Expected Results:  
run fdisk ;-)

spurious scsi interrupt usually happens when a irq conflict is happening,
but ill assume your using another type of linux with it.
If possible please try the  dual-kernel livecd at www.gentoo.org/~livewire .
type smp at the boot prompt. (wondering if its a apic problem)

btw scsi disk and mouse  are compiled in the kernel.

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
