hi i can't reproduce this immediately, but can you attach the output of "emerge info". Here it is : Portage 2.0.47-r8 (default-x86-1.4, gcc-3.2.2, glibc-2.3.1-r3) ================================================================= System uname: 2.4.20-xfs_pre6-2 i686 Pentium III (Coppermine) GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.oregonstate.edu/ http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/Lin ux/distributions/gentoo" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /var/qmail/control /usr/share/config /usr/kde/2/share/confi g /usr/kde/3/share/config /var/bind /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /opt/jakarta/tomcat/c onf" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/env.d" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" USE="x86 oss avi crypt cups encode gif jpeg libg++ mikmod mpeg oggvorbis pdflib png quicktime sdl spell xmms gdbm slang readline java X gpm tcpd pam libwww perl python imlib gtk qt motif opengl mozilla -3dnow -apm -arts -esd -gnome -kde -po stgres acl acpi alsa apache2 berkdb dga dvd cdr gd imap innodb junit lcms ldap m aildir mmx mysql ncurses nls oci8 odbc pcmcia plotutils pnp samba sasl snmp sse ssl svga tcltk truetype trusted xml xml2 xv zlib" COMPILER="gcc3" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-march=pentium3 -O3 -pipe" CXXFLAGS="-march=pentium3 -O3 -pipe" ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86 ~arch ~x86" MAKEOPTS="-j2" AUTOCLEAN="yes" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" FEATURES="sandbox ccache" If you need anything else, just let me know. Will what version of xfree86 to you have installed. i searched around for libGL and it appears to be part of xfree86 4.3 Sorry for the delay in getting back to this. Anyway, I performed an emerge world -e. Once I did this, the problems with emerging xforms went away. |
