(In reply to comment #0) > The icons of the toolbar buttons in jxplorer 3.1 are not visible, making the > buttons be only 10x10px squares. Seems as if jxplorer cannot access the icons, > or they are not installed at all. > I don't see anything wrong with them. Can you please post emerge --info and a screen shot and then reopen. Created attachment 113548 [details] emerge --info Here is emerge --info from the computer it happens on. My second computer does not have this problem; strange. screenshot: http://screenshots.cweiske.de/2007-03-17%20jXplorer%20no%20icons.png reopening after screenshot (In reply to comment #3) > reopening after screenshot > I should have remembered to request the following info too: java -version java-check-environment Also please check the jxplorer output to the console when you launch it. java -version java version "1.5.0_10" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_10-b03) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_10-b03, mixed mode) java-check-environment * === Java Environment Checker === * Java environment is sane. It is set to dir.icons=/usr/share/jxplorer/icons/ there. The directory exists on both computers, though. When setting the dir by hand, it does also not work. The directory exists on both > computers, though. > When setting the dir by hand, it does also not work. > Ok. I am now able to reproduce this by deleting the dxconfig.txt file. I guess mine was safe when updating from an earlier version. 3.1-r3 should fix this issue. Arches please mark it stable: I fixed this by changing the wrapper to create symlinks to /usr/share/jxplorer in ~/.jxplorer x86 stable Stabilized, closing |
