Description Christian Weiske 2007-03-03 13:36:25 UTC
The icons of the toolbar buttons in jxplorer 3.1 are not visible, making the buttons be only 10x10px squares. Seems as if jxplorer cannot access the icons, or they are not installed at all.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start jxplorer
2. Look at the toolbar
Actual Results:
No icons on the toolbar buttons.

Expected Results:
Nice icons in the toolbar.

I don't see anything wrong with them. Can you please post emerge --info and a screen shot and then reopen.

Here is emerge --info from the computer it happens on. My second computer does not have this problem; strange.

I should have remembered to request the following info too:

Also please check the jxplorer output to the console when you launch it.

----------

When deleting dxconfig.txt, it is set to my local dir again - that is what differs from the other computer. It is set to dir.icons=/usr/share/jxplorer/icons/ there. The directory exists on both computers, though.
When setting the dir by hand, it does also not work.

Ok. I am now able to reproduce this by deleting the dxconfig.txt file. I guess mine was safe when updating from an earlier version.

3.1-r3 should fix this issue. Arches please mark it stable:

I fixed this by changing the wrapper to create symlinks to /usr/share/jxplorer in ~/.jxplorer
