Homeworld 1 is still a cool game so please add it to the gentoo tree, so that hopefully a network mode will be added in time.

So, I discovered site http://www.homeworldsdl.org/ and prebuild-package 0.5alpha - http://homesource.nekomimicon.net/downloads/stuff_for_testing/index.php?dir=&file=homeworldsdl-Linux-0.5alpha.tar.gz
Waiting an ebuilds :).

two years, still alpha.  Looks pretty dead upstream.   reopen if they make another release and I'll take another look.
