Could somebody put together an eclass for PHP PEAR modules like the Perl CPAN 
modules, so that we can have more PEAR modules? It should also make updating 
them easier...

OK, i finally got around to write the eclass, and it's almost ready.
I will test a bit more and make some little fixes and then commit.

PEAR Eclass in portage :)
I'll start converting the current ebuilds soon.
