I upgraded to Eterm 0.9.4 because it went stable, but after I did so I was unable to use 'less' and 'nano' properly.  The error I received was something like "Warning:  Terminal is not fully functional."

I fixed it by following the instructions on this forum post http://forums.gentoo.org//viewtopic-t-60053-highlight-terminal+fully+functional.html

But I believe this should be automated by Portage...  I believe it was before, because when I first installed Eterm I never received an error message about using less.
