on x86:

net-im/gossip-0.22  USE="dbus spell -debug -libnotify"

seems to be fine this time (see bug 124659) although i was able to crash it in the beginning when configuring my account; however, as i was not able to reproduce this, the app worked fine afterwards, despite lot's of messages like this,

and actually has seen lots of love from upstream recently, i think it is ready for stable this time ...

last but not least: thanks to jockey for being a helpful test-chat-partner.
