Description Ian Monroe 2003-03-03 11:54:38 UTC
Well, not too many details to report - it hangs after doing the checksum.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
I do a "emerge openoffice"
Actual Results:
# emerge openoffice
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) app-office/openoffice-1.0.2 to /
>>> md5 ;-) OOo_1.0.2_source.tar.bz2
>>> md5 ;-) STLport-4.5.3.tar.gz
>>> md5 ;-) gpc231.tar.Z
>>> md5 ;-) freetype-2.1.3.tar.bz2
 *
That last dot is red. Then it just hangs, and I have to CRTL-C to get out of it. On the
forums, someone using gnoportage reported the following output:
!!! ERROR: app-office/openoffice-1.0.2 failed.
 !!! Function pkg_setup, Line 137, Exitcode 0
 !!! (no error message)

 Calculating dependencies      ...done!

I tried it after removing ccache from make.conf, same result.

this isn't an openoffice bug, its a portage bug, and it should be resolved now
