Hhm, the host system itself was upgraded too to this new baselayout version and now the system doesn't halt properly, it hangs with that message ;-) You sure have >=sys-apps/sysvinit-2.86-r6 installed? yes, look here : Wed Feb 14 09:48:10 2007 >>> emerge (3 of 10) sys-apps/sysvinit-2.86-r6 to / Wed Feb 14 09:48:36 2007 >>> unmerge success: sys-apps/sysvinit-2.86-r5 Wed Feb 14 09:48:36 2007 ::: completed emerge (3 of 10) sys-apps/sysvinit-2.86-r6 to / Do you have shutdown.sh and reboot.sh in /etc/init.d? Argh, sorry for the noise, for some reason neither the script reboot.sh nor shutdown.sh were replaced by the new files. Now it works :-) |
