full build log
Kindly post error output in English. stop the funnylanguage Sorry, gcc don't likes my language settings. I had LC_ALL set to polish utf-8 during that emerge. Unsetting it was enough for emerge to succeed. I don't like that remark about funny language Mr ebfe (or Mr knabberknusperhaus). I want gentoo to speak my native language, and i want error messages to be displayed in my native language as well. gcc should build regardless of the lang ... what are your locale settings ? aka please post the normal output of `locale` I have the same error with the following language settings: LANG="en_US.UTF-8" LC_ALL="en_US.UTF-8" LINGUAS="en" Please update this bug. Is it still a problem with gcc 4.1.2 or newer? Two questions: is this fixed, and why was this ever assigned to the alpha arch? gcc-4.1 isn't actively supported anymore. Open a new bug if this is a problem with gcc-4.3. For me the bug is resolved. I don't use gentoo anymore, thanks heavens! |
