it seems that a dependency in gimp is wrong:
gimp-2.2.12.ebuild:

RDEPEND=> doc? ( app-doc/gimp-help )

so if you have doc use flag you need gimp-help

But in the gimp-help ebuild:

RDEPEND="!<media-gfx/gimp-2.2.12"
