Please, remove the flag and always install both static and shared libraries...

Also:

- this needs >=dev-libs/glib-2.0.0, not >=dev-libs/glib-1.2.10
- drop virtual/libc from there
- you should set RDEPEND explicitely since libtool is not RDEPEND and nls should RDEPEND on virtual/libintl if this really needs such stuff at runtime.
