does it fail in the same place every time ? does the old gcc still build ? does it work with -gcj ? Sorry for the false alarm. I tried again & it compiled successfully; I've used it to compile 'pdftk', which also compiled ok. It's difficult to remember that this can happen: one assumes that the machine will do exactly the same each time, but there must be some obscure interaction with the system which upsets the apple-cart one time but not another. Thanks as always for the devs' volunteer labors. |
