Bug 165471 – framebuffer console cursor blinks X screen using gensplash and 2.6.19-r5 gentoo kernel

When I start X session using qingy or startx from console cursor blinks in my X screen like it was console as seen in http://yac.srck.net/obry/posek.jpg always in position where the cursor was on console. Problem apeared with 2.6.19-r5 gentoo kernel both configured from scratch and using oldconfig from working 2.6.18-r6. I use gensplash framebuffer with vesa-tng at 1024x768@60Hz and an ancient ATI Radeon 9000 with X.org radeon driver and 1024x768@75Hz. DRI on/off doesn't affect the problem. Everything works well but the framebuffer cursor being drawn 'over' my desktop is quite annoying.

Steps to Reproduce:
one way od reproducing the bug
1.login to console (1024x768@60, with gensplash background logo, but that imho doesn't matter)
2.startx


Actual Results:  
the blinking cursor 'over' the X screen at the position where it was in console before the X started. It seem like it simply din't stop redrawing...

Expected Results:  
only cursor I expect in X is mouse cursor...
