patch to make module compile
Apply this patch and rt2400-1.2.2-b3/Module/rtmp_main.c will compile.
I have the same compile problem with a vanilla 2.6.20.3 kernel. Here is a temp workaround until it gets fixed in the portage tree. Download the patch I uploaded and compile the package by hand. /magan tar -zxf /usr/portage/distfiles/rt2400-1.2.2-b3.tar.gz cd rt2400-1.2.2-b3/Module/ cat /tmp/foo.patch | patch make make install cd ../Utility/ /usr/qt/3/bin/qmake -o Makefile raconfig2400.pro make ./RaConfig2400 Sorry for spamming you all. My patch might be incorrect. I found parts of that solution here: http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=15161 Guess the way to do it is like this file is doing it: /usr/portage/net-wireless/rt2400/files/rt2400-1.2.3_beta3-2.6.17.patch /magan (In reply to comment #1) > Created an attachment (id=114251) [edit] > patch to make module compile > > Apply this patch and rt2400-1.2.2-b3/Module/rtmp_main.c will compile. > Can you try to make an ebuild for a cvs snapshot and test it out please? You can get it at: http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/rt2400-cvs-daily.tar.gz Otherwise feel free to wait for the rt2x00 driver bug 176148 waiting for upstream to release a new rt2400 or rt2x00 |
