evince fails to update with the following error: !!! A file listed in the Manifest could not be found: '/usr/portage/app-text/evince/files/evince-0.3.1-dvi-64bit.patch.bak'

This originally happened when trying to update from gnome-2.14 to gnome-2.16

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge app-text/evince

Actual Results:  
!!! A file listed in the Manifest could not be found: '/usr/portage/app-text/evince/files/evince-0.3.1-dvi-64bit.patch.bak'




Expected Results:  
To have evince updated successfully.
