-- logically these should no longer be dependent on openldap
Also 'emerge --depclean' does not remove openldap, which is what I am trying to do.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. add "-ldap" to USE in /etc/make.conf
2. emerge --newuse system
3. emerge --newuse world
4. equery depend openldap
5. eix -nI {each dependant package}
6. if eix shows -ldap on each package then emerge --depclean
Actual Results:
equery depend shows dev-libs/cyrus-sasl app-crypt/gnupg net-misc/openssh net-misc/curl kde-base/kdebase
eix shows -ldap on each package
depclean shows nothing to remove

Expected Results:
equery depend shows nothing
eix shows -ldap on each package
depclean removes openldap

This is probably a duplicate of 119876 (equery depgraph and depends bogus) and/or 164678 (equery broken) but note emerge --depclean shows the same, apparently bogus, dependency.

grep openldap /var/lib/portage/world
Comment 3 Daiajo Tibdixious 2007-02-07 09:36:44 UTC
openldap was in world. Sorry for the noise.
emerge --depclean is removing openldap now.
Comment 4 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-10-19 21:05:14 UTC
close then.
