Description Richard Scott 2007-01-29 19:57:13 UTC
I've just installed dev-php5/pecl-apc-3.0.12_p2 for use with Apache and CLI php and all is ok for Apache.

However, I've noticed that in the /etc/php/cli-php5/ext/apc.ini file that is installed the variable apc.enabled_cli is set to 0, when this needs to be set to 1.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge dev-php5/pecl-apc
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Please can pecl-apc be installed and activated for cli usage by default like the apache side of things.

No, this is intentionally disabled by default and will stay so; doesn't make sense to enable by default for majority of users.
