first draft of emacs-22.0.93.ebuild based on emacs-cvs-22.0.92.ebuild
I writed a draft ebuild, and this works for me, please someone review this ebuild, i consider this nos finished.
Yes, I will have a look at your changes. As you may have noticed, I already made bump for .93 the old way. I would like you to rework it a big though, as you should send patch files not whole ebuilds. And please just remove lines, don't just put them into a comment, as change tracking is made harder that way. Give me some days/weeks to have a deeper look into all that. To get it straight: On first glance, your changes look interesting and promising, so I really appreciate it, as I did not have time and gains to have a look at the cvs ebuild. Please use a real usable URL in the SRC_URI field and leave emacs-cvs notions as they are (means: no emacs-cvs-${SLOT} to emacs-${SLOT}), then use `diff -u old.ebuild new.ebuild` and submit the output (based on the current emacs-cvs-22.0.93.ebuild, please).
Last comment. I had time to incorporate your changes into the normal ebuild and will commit it tomorrow as -r1, so don't bother building a patch. Thanks for the inspiration, ebuilds are commited now. (In reply to comment #5) > Thanks for the inspiration, ebuilds are commited now. > now i no have my gentoo to check this, but i´m very happy for the bump, in short i go for this ebuild, i promise help to track and maintain this, thank´s. |
