ia64 is known to not be smooth at all due to the libunwind problems and really, there isnt a whole lot of motivation to fix it considering developing natively on ia64 is painless *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 134318 *** Hmmm... Had I had ia64 I would have not try to cross dev :) I looked at bug#134318 before reporting, and thought this is a different problem... :( Thanks anyway... there are ia64 dev machines available to all Gentoo developers for remote access |
