look at your error:

No space left on device

same error as your kopete bug report.

is /var/tmp/portage full?

please do a df -h on it and check
Comment 3 Thiago dos Santos Alves 2003-02-26 23:41:20 UTC
Unfortunateli I do not use other partition to /var/tmp/portage so here is my df -h:

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda4 17G 2.6G 13G 17% /
tmpfs 251M 0 251M 0% /dev/shm
/tmp 17G 2.6G 13G 17% /mnt/.init.d

Note that I bind /tmp to /mnt/.init.d becouse I do not have any idea of what I have to do
:-)
Comment 4 Seemant Kulleen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-26 23:50:29 UTC
tmpfs /tmp tmpfs defaults 0 0

put that ^^^ in your /etc/fstab

don't bind to /mnt/.init.d please

Comment 5 Martin Holzer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-04-21 16:44:07 UTC
closing with don't bind to /mnt/.init.d please
